Spirit Feline

Cast by moonlight’s soft glow,
whiskers twitch, patience, my soul,
a Spirit feline, elusive and slow.

Graceful paws leave imprints of light,
in the shadows of this quiet night,
feral and wild yet gentle in flight.

Eyes gleam with a wisdom untamed,
in the moonlit valley, my spirit is named.
Yet her feline essence remains unclaimed.

Through moonbeam trails, I quietly roam,
down forest lanes, over earth, grass, and stone,
in the velvet darkness, I find my home.

In the quietude, I wait, where I grow old.
My feline spirit finds its way to me through the cold.
Her name is Virtue, and she is mine to hold.
