An Antithesis: Government Truth


In truth, truth is where honesty resides,
Lies from the government
are where deceit collides.
People seeking clarity
are seeking what’s right,
Our government’s hidden agendas
are veiling it from sight.

Truth is a beacon shining,
trying to guide our way,
Government lies are a smokescreen
that leads us astray.
People are yearning for transparency
for trust to restore,
Yet our government,
shrouded in secrecy.
conceals even more.

Individuals are speaking the truth
and with conviction, they stand.
The Government is spreading falsehoods.
They have the upper hand.
People are seeking justice in a world that is unfair,
As our Government hides corruption,
as they act without care.

Truth is a pillar of righteousness.
It is unwavering and strong.
The Government’s lies are a facade
that deceived us all along.
People are demanding answers
and are seeking the light.
The Government is feeding us falsehoods
and obscuring what’s right.

In the battle between truth
and government lies,
People’s voices rise,
they are seeking to unmask the guise.
For truth is unyielding
and will prevail in the end,
this web of deception,
through our actions,
the people must mend.
