Guard your Heart

Guard your Heart

Guard your heart against the drift
Of self-pity and “what ifs.”
Let gratitude be daily bread,
And prayers be where your soul is fed.

God knows the ache within your bones,
He’s felt the weight, He hears the groans.
Yet still He calls, not to complain,
But to serve with joy amidst the pain.

Our mission never does retire—
It burns in us like holy fire.
Not in the feats we used to do,
But in the faith that still rings true.

Fan the flame, let mercy grow,
Let truth be felt in love we show.
And when we speak, let Christ be seen—
Not hollow words, but hearts made clean.
