Words and Actors

“To act is better than to speak” said the mime,
Trapped in his box of pantomime.
“But don’t be fooled by this silent art—
It’s my quiet words that steal your heart!”

“Ink can win this fight!” said the bard,
Yet irony tiptoed into his backyard.
With a flick of his wrist and a keyboard’s wish,
His “ink” was a tweet—fleeting, and squished.

“My way speaks louder!” both said with pride,
As one crafted a tweet, the other, a wink and stride.
“It’s all about me” they mused, on street and screen—
‘cuz actors with words, could be a meme!

And in moments of impulse, revealed:
No actions or words, if actor’s concealed,
typing or protesting, does not wrong right,
Pen mightier than sword, except in a fight.

Though the bard clicked, the mime in protest twirled—
Words and actors alone can’t move the world.
