Gödel’s Legacy
Within each perfect, final claim,
In coded halls of logic’s core,
A hidden theorem none can tame
Bound by rules that promise more,
We chase illusions born of gain;
In markets dressed in fleeting schemes,
we mock the proofs we strive to reign.
Yet phantom truths slip through our dreams.
And every axiom shining bright,
Where numbers weave their secret art,
and lurk, veiled beyond searching sight.
We find the gap within the heart.
Not all is known, though proofs take flight—
Yet Gödel hums an ancient rune—
Beyond the edge of theorem’s light,
Physics waltzes, stars in tune,
Infinity eludes all men.
So let us seek where wonders gleam,
We craft the laws with careful pen;
Beyond each gate of stone and dream
Though proofs may fail and reason bend;
though math may frame the world in part,
Lie truths that never meet an end.
For mystery makes the grandest art.
