My Prayer Today
Lord, I come with open hands,
To walk in line with Your commands.
Not who I dreamed or thought I’d be,
But who You’ve truly made of me.
Strip away my shallow aims,
The fleeting praise, the empty names.
Replace them with Your voice, Your call—
The only truth that stands through all.
Help me walk in step, not stray,
Each minute, hour, and passing day.
With Spirit fire and steady pace,
To run this race with fearless grace.
Let Christ’s own mind renew my view,
To see with eyes made clear and true.
To stand, a daughter crowned with light,
And hold Your ground with holy might.
Give me boldness, soaked in grace,
To love, to lead, to take my place.
Shrewd in thought, yet soft in tone,
Strong and still, but not alone.
Heal the wounds I’ve tried to hide,
Fill the cracks I feel inside.
Let wholeness rise and shame be gone,
For in Your truth, I still belong.
I praise You, God, for words like these—
For answered prayers and deeper peace.
Let this be more than just a start:
Be Lord of all, within my heart.
