A World in Darkness

The world lies dark in tangled sin,
A storm that howls, a storm within.
We walk among its twisted ways,
Yet must not let its tempest stay.

Remember well, but do not cling,
Go past the lies, let true light bring.
for those who dwell without rest,
a path to peace, that God may bless.

Among the crowds, so vast, so loud,
Keep guarded what your soul has vowed.
A thousand voices rise and fall,
Yet few will hear God’s truest call.

Trust wisely, speak with measured tone,
For truths shared are seeds in God sown.
One heart in thousands, tried and true,
May hold your trust, may walk with you.

God Save the Family
Lord, give wisdom to our Father,
Give strength and faith to our mother,
Save unborn babies from slaughter,
protect our sister and brother.

If walls of home should break and fall,
Then ruin swallows nations all.
For when the family fades away,
The people drift, the lands decay.

A house divided will not stand,
Nor rulers keep a wayward land.
But where love reigns and faith is strong,
The weary find where they belong.

Turn from evil, and rise above,
Guard truth, build homes, and walk in love.
