In the Storm, Be Still
Be still and know—though winds may roar,
Though waves may crash upon your shore—
That God is good, not just in calm,
But in the trial, He is your balm.
The skies may darken, days grow grim,
Yet light breaks through when turned to Him.
Not all who watch will hear your prayer,
But they will see your steadfast care.
For peace that holds through breaking tide
Speaks louder than the fears we hide.
A quiet heart, a lifted gaze—
Becomes the witness, speaks His praise.
Step out in faith where shadows creep,
Where promises are buried deep;
There, in the storm, His voice is near,
A whisper stronger than your fear.
Draw close—His presence will not flee.
The storm may rage, but so does He.
And in your calm, the world may find
A glimpse of hope, a strength divine.
