The Way of Lasting Change
If you would see your world made new,
Proclaim the gospel—clear and true.
Go tell the news that Christ is King,
Obey His call, His mercy sing.
Then find a soul to walk beside,
To teach, to love, to gently guide;
A faithful heart, a ready hand,
Will multiply as Christ has planned.
Within the church, God’s chosen fold,
Serve with the gifts His grace has told.
In love and labor, do your part,
The body grows through every heart.
Teach children well, and let them hear
The Word of God both far and near;
At morning’s rise, at evening’s rest,
Impress His truth within their breast.
And love your home—your flesh, your bone,
A covenant love, like Christ has shown.
In giving all, in tender care,
The gospel’s power is living there.
Not politics, nor fleeting schemes,
But holy lives and gospel dreams;
God’s Word, God’s people, day by day—
This is the changeless, certain way.
