The Devil Loses in the End

The Devil Loses in the End

The serpent roams with deadly art,
Corrupting souls, deceiving hearts.
His reign of lies, though fierce, though near,
Is but a shadow soon to clear.

His time is short—he knows the cost,
A fleeting crown, forever lost.
The lake of fire awaits his fall,
The Judge of judges rules o’er all.

So stand, O saint, with lion’s might,
Lift high the shield, defend the light.
Plant seeds of truth where good may grow,
Leave the place where hardened hearts go.

For prayers disturb the world of sin,
Yet shake the dark that burns within.
The God of peace will crush our foe,
Beneath the feet of those who know.

Take courage, wield the sword, be strong,
The righteous rise with victor’s song.
The trumpet sounds, the war will cease—
And Christ shall reign, eternal peace.
