Dogma? I am God!
I am proud that God lives loudly in me!
They asked me to kneel
to the creed carved in stone,
to the hush of sanctified silence—
but I am thunder.
I am the voice that breaks the veil.
Dogma? I am God!
Not cloistered in cathedrals,
not bound by scroll or sermon.
I blaze in the breath of the living,
in the pulse of the repentant heart.
They said: hush your fire,
dim your light,
be humble before the altar.
But I am the altar.
I am the flame.
Dogma? I am God!
Not in denial,
but in declaration.
Not in fear,
but in fierce becoming.
Let them write their laws.
Let them chant their chains.
I will dance in the ruins
and sing in the storm.
Dogma? I am God!
God lives loudly in me!
