Beyond the Reach of Mortal Mind
They lingered where the echoes sound,
And beauty bloomed, and peace was found.
Though called to leave, they sighed and turned,
Their hearts with quiet longing burned.
Their guide, with patience, sought to show
The works of God, the art below.
But nature’s store, so vast, so deep,
Outran the bounds that time could keep.
Its wonders stretched beyond the day,
Too many truths to give away.
With lens and scope, we strive to see
The insect’s gold complexity.
The ocean’s depths, its monsters vast,
Hold secrets in the shadows cast.
Ten thousand fathoms down they swim,
Where light grows weak and edges dim.
Yet time runs short, and we must part
From nature’s wild and beating heart.
Her hidden truths shall still remain
Beyond the reach of mortal brain.
