Unity Against Terror

In crimson dawn and ash-gray dusk,
We stood faithful though divided— against the unjust.
But as the sirens called us near,
We dropped our flags, we dropped our fear.
Beneath the smoke, we found each hand
Still clutching the soil of this same land.
And though our grief was not the same,
We spoke aloud a common name.
Not Christian, Muslim, Jew, or free,
But human in adversity.
We stood where ruin had its say—
And vowed no hate would have its day.
Not one more name turned into dust,
Not one more war disguised as just.
Beneath the shattered glass and flame,
We lit one candle in one name.
Not for revenge, but to forgive,
To fight for those who want to live.
We stand against the sound of fear—
As we call our enemies near.
Not to embrace the hate they send,
But to declare it finds its end.
In us, in love, in grief, in light,
Unity shall be our fight.
