Truth in the Signs

Truth in the Signs

Different paths can lead to the same result like 2² = 4
—a squared truth at the core.
And yet 7 − 3 = 4
Seven take away three is also four—
some things subtract but still restore.

3 × 3 = 9 Nine is born of three times three;
some patterns grow predictably
to highlight patterns and hidden powers.
Log₁₀(1000) = 3 The log of thousand’s three—
a hidden power we don’t always see.

π ≈ 3.14 Pie’s about three point one four,
brings in the idea of approximation—
a taste approximated evermore.
some truths we only know about, not exactly.

e^{iπ} + 1 = 0 E-eye-pie plus one is zero—
Euler’s identity represents perfect harmony,
order singing like a hero,
a moment where everything fits.

1 + 1 = 10 (base 2) One plus one is ten in two—
makes a familiar idea unfamiliar,
a binary way to say “brand new,”
hinting at transformation.

|−5| = 5 The abs of −5 is five—
and this reflects resilience.
a sign flipped still survives.
Negativity can still yield something positive.

√4 = 2 Root of four is two—
the truth beneath comes shining through.
Sin(0) = 0 The sine of zero’s zero—flat—
a calm beginning, imagine that.

Certainty, change, and structure,
Δx > 0 ⇒ x grows shows motion and change.
A change in x that’s positive shows
x increasing everywhere it goes.

∫₀¹ 1 dx = 1 The area from zero to one is one—
These bring calmness, unity, and continuity.
a whole made from where we’d begun.
These equations appear in life.
