Double Dutch
In Dudoubublule Dudututcashhash
to speak Double Dutch is as such—
Jumping syllables, tripping, less is more,
Sense gets lost, yet joy’s at its core.
A, the letters twirl,
Mumbo jumbo starts to whirl.
Jargon loops and Bubasquafuflulesus
Gibberish becomes the Gugabubsus.
Bub, is just one tangled word,
Sounds like something absurd.
It’s all Tutnese now, language light,
A playful tongue in day or night.
Jumping rhythms in the air,
Double Dutch is everywhere.
Speech untamed, a trope a sound,
Nonsense language, all around.
So twist the words and leap the line,
In this, Cash is where nonsense shines.
Double Dutch—don’t understand?
Read on my friend and try your hand.
