Kindness gives you their umbrella.
Love shares an umbrella.
Passion tosses the umbrella
and dances with you in the rain.

I wrote this poem one day at work in a small bookstore. It was raining and we were selling umbrellas (we actually sold out) I put it on decorative card stock and taped it nicely to the front of the register. The next day I found it in the trash as my supervisor had thrown it away. If I hadn’t dug it out of the trash it may have been lost forever. It now is stuck to my fridge by magnets.
