Beyond Time
In days of old, when sin marked the hours,
We pondered time and its mystical powers.
We’d whisper, “Time will mend, like an old friend”.
As wounds healed slowly, pain might eventually end.
Time flowed through an unmarked space.
Before the sundial measured its pace,
We’d say, “Time changes all, it’s true,”
As moments slipped by, old to new.
Before the clocks with gears and spring chimes,
Time dwelled within the chambers of our minds.
Before our screens displayed the hour,
Time’s rhythm held a timeless power.
We’d marvel at how its beat remained,
through sun or storm, it never waned.
But deeper still, beyond the clock,
It’s God who mends the heart in shock.
The wise, they praise God’s endless love,
As steady as time ticks in the stars above.
In Him, they find a refuge sure—
faith in Him, beyond time, forever pure.
So let us cherish each fleeting day;
in God’s embrace, we’ll find our way.
When sundials fade and clocks no longer chime,
in His love, we shall continue beyond time.
In Jesus’ name, our hope resides;
in Him, love’s current flows beyond time’s tides.
With faith, we’ll rise, our hearts ablaze,
and in His love, find timeless praise.
