Seraphim

Seraphim

Fiery burning ones
stand above the divine throne,
six wings, two covering their faces,
two covering their feet,
two for flight—
Beings of purification, holiness,
and intense radiance.

Proclaim the Trisagion:
“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts;
the whole earth is full of His glory.”
These highest order of angels,
embodying pure divine love,
and consuming devotion.

In purification —
burning away impurity
In ecstasy —
the fire of divine presence
In transcendence —
beings too radiant to behold
In proclamation —
their song shakes the thresholds of heaven.

They are the flame
at the center
of the throne‑vision,
the embodiment
of holiness itself.
