In the downpour’s clouds release,
A symphony, raindrops, a masterpiece,
the storm’s cascading raid,
Passion, a fervent gleam,
Thrown about in a burst of a dream,
pouring rain, twirling and spinning,
energy ignites, Lightning’s vibrant hue,
Dancing in the rain, passions rendezvous.
Abandons caution, in wild reprieve,
passion, oh passion, dares to ignite,
Tossing the umbrella, embracing rain’s delight.
Spirit unchained, passion unbound.
I like the theme in your poem where internal attitude not only overcomes, but rejoices over an external circumstance that most would see as a negative. The language was rich with a good cadence (almost felt like the words jumped out of the page if that makes sense) which made for an enjoyable read.
