Ain’t Nothing God Can’t Do
Amid trials the shadows of doubt loom,
I lift my eyes and Your light breaks through.
Dear God, I pray, I am counting on You,
In Your hands, I place my plea,
A prayer linked in faith, in truth,
Believing in Your Sovereignty.
Illness grips and my body aches,
this is a sudden storm and a heavy weight.
The fear it brings is so close, so near,
and echoes “What of my family’s fate?”
Yet, in the darkness, I find Your grace,
Your mercy shines in every place.
Tests and trials, they come, they go,
Each step I take seems like a heavy load.
But I know, Lord, You walk by my side,
You choose the healing touch, in You, I hide.
With a job lost and now the truck broke down,
Yet in the bad, I know Your grace abounds.
For even in the bad, You are good—
Kindness is a refuge in our despair,
Stranded, yet I know I am held in Your care.
So I continue to pray, to hope, to trust,
As my health declines, and the going’s rough.
For above it all, Your truth rings clear,
I look to the sky, open and blue,
A billboard’s message catches my view,
“Ain’t Nothin’ God Can’t Do,”
A sign that God is seeing us through,
a reminder that as your child I need not fear:
Dear God, I pray, I am counting on You.
For You are the God of the impossible,
“Ain’t Nothin’ God Can’t Do,”
I will remember the words on that billboard,
for you are, who sees, who knows, who heals.
Ain’t nothing You can’t do, my Lord,
In You, I place my heart’s appeal.
