Beneath the Crown

Beneath the Crown

In moments when triumph stands so tall,
And cheers rise high as banners fly,
Remember not to dance or call—
For deeper truths in silence lie.
Let not brief glory cloud it all.

For all, He warns, is not for you.
The crown, though gleaming, may conceal
A burden forged in fire and rue.
Heed the voice no time can steal—
The one that guides, and warns, and knew.

Let not the thrill of pride confide
In fleeting joy or fame’s embrace,
For in the light of joy, we’re tried,
To see the wrongs we must erase.
In humble form we must abide.

In modesty, strength begins to rise—
A quiet fire that never dies.
