The Tranquility of Joy and Sorrow Draft

I have been forced to tear apart my notebooks and scan them in once a year with a scanner I borrow from my daughter to prove I write! But a lot of what I write now is on the keyboard. The fear of being accused in an age of AI is real. Where is the line? Am I not aloud to experiment due to the cancel culture? Will I be cancelled because of constraint? Isn’t working with constraint just as authentic? Many poets and writers would say no. I am an artist. I am a poet. What makes an artist? Is it wrong that I take my drawing and paintings and often tweak them in photoshop to use for book covers? Is it wrong to tweak the brightness of photographs when using them in books or marketing? I turned all my childhood photographs black and white because I didn’t want to pay for color printing, does that make me a fraud? Complication!!! this is a dark age for authenticity.
